This blog is a companion to the website:

I follow the 7 Steps to keep my back healthy and stop back pain. They are outlined on the website.

A doctor cannot do these steps for you, and each one is important! If you could get free of back pain, would you consider doing something new?

Anyone willing to make the effort can see results.  You can still see your doctor, but he or she cannot follow you around to check your posture. He can’t strengthen your muscles or meditate for you. You have to decide if you are willing to take charge of your health. Little things that you do each day can make a big difference.

I am now 60 and had I taken a different path I could have easily had chronic back pain or been in a wheel chair. Instead, I squat and bend and garden and dance! But I do have to pay attention and keep on top of it when I start hurting.

What works best is to get the help you need from back pain specialists, and then on a daily basis, to do what you can to keep your back healthy. It takes learning and commitment, but living without pain killers and without a fused spine makes life much better.

I hope this site can help you regain your health and live life without chronic back pain.
